The SAPESCO reputation for delivering advanced slickline technology and outstanding service quality continues to grow, strengthened by a new organizational structure based on expertise and focused on providing solutions.

Our integrated slickline operations incorporate the very best of the engineering know-how with unequaled products & services and instilled the commitment to technological leadership shared by all SAPESCO Product Segments. The result is a continuing tradition of quality and reliability in slickline operations.

It's no secret that Sapesco has over 12 years of well servicing excellence, encompassing the managing and running of traditional mechanical and electrical data acquisition services. Essentially Slickline operations are:

Training

All Slickline Services staff participate in our slickline training program, which promotes superior skill and competence in performing operations. All technicians and engineers enter the Practical training program immediately upon employment and attend a two-weeks basic school at our training facility in SAPESCO Yard, in Egypt. Specialized training such as certification of well control IWCF is provided overseas every two years.

Services for all Applications

Mechanical slickline offers a method of well intervention that reduces lost production without damaging the formation with kill fluids. This is accomplished by the use of a tool string to install and retrieve downhole tools, equipment and flow-control devices with small-diameter, solid wire from reel unit, and power source and pressure control equipment at the wellhead. This can be done under extreme service conditions as found on sour high-pressure or subsea wells.
SAPESCO performs a variety of services where slickline is used as a conveyance method, such as memory production logging, installing bridge plugs, re-perforating, dump bailing, cutting and punching tubing, running downhole memory pressure gauges, …etc.

For high-pressure operations, SAPESCO provides environmentally friendly pressure-control equipment. SAPESCO slickline equipment and intervention services have a proven track record in Egypt, Azerbaijan and Syria. The following are some of the standard and conventional application of Slickline operations.

Quality Control

All slickline equipment is being bought from a world-wide known manufacturer who follows quality and ISO standards of registering and tracking sold equipment by global generic software. For SAPESCO as an end-user do its part by uniform inspections, maintenance and upgrades provide quality control, assuring delivery of consistent, high-quality services on any job anywhere in the world.

Slickline Equipment

SAPESCO has the capability to operate in areas that are virtually inaccessible to ground vehicles. This is accomplished by using skid units that are heli-portable, a quad unit for very limited wheeled access and an all terrain unit which can access location that are all most under water. These types of units are very well adapted to areas that are primarily winter access.

The Sapesco skid unit is designed for work in remote locations where truck mounted units are not practical or for long duration projects where accessibility may be an issue.
