Sapesco has a success story in Syria. The company today has a registered branch in Syria since 1994. The headquarter office is in Damascus and the operation bases in Deir Ezzor.
In 1996 Sapesco succeeded to secure two years contract for the provision of Drilling Jars and shock tools with AFPC. Again and in 1998 the contract was re tendered and granted to Sapesco for 5 years and additional drilling activities were added to the previous scope. The new contract includes, Fishing services, supply of drilling jars, Coring services, supply of drilling roller reamers and supply of non-rotating drill pipe protectors.
The Tubular Handling Contract was granted to Sapesco on 1998 for the period of 5 Years and re granted to Sapesco on 2003 for another 5 years to cover the activities of:
- Casing running service.
- Standard tubing running services.
- Chromium tubing running services (mark free).
- Bucking services.
- Pick up and lay down machine services.
On 1999, another main contract was added to Sapesco activities with AFPC in Syria, The Supply and Services of Liner Hangers with TIW for the duration of 5 years.
Today we are proud of being the lead contractor in Syria. We serve in average the 10 Rigs operate with AFPC In addition to most of the work of Deir Ezzor Pet. Co. as well as frequent jobs with Syrian Petroleum Company (SPC) , Dublin & GulfSands Petroleum Companies. This year we have achieved record of ELEVEN years without accident. The ISO 9002 Quality Management Program is professionally implemented since 1998.
