HSE Policy

It is SAPESCO's policy to:

1. Comply with all Safety, Health and Environment statutory requirements.
2. Take all reasonable steps to ensure the Safety and Health of the persons working at the company designated areas.
3. Take all reasonable steps to ensure Safe waste disposal and environmental control.
4. Prevent injury, damage and loss arising from its operation and services.
5. Ensure that its sub-contractors abide by similar Safety Standards.

It is the duty of management, at all levels, to promote and maintain Safety in design, construction operation, maintenance and all services provided by the company to any/all of its clients.
Equally, all company employees must exercise a personal responsibility in preventing injury to themselves, their fellow workers and loss to the company and/or the clients or third party personnel or property.

The company in pursuance of this policy will:

1. Employ and provide proper resources to ensure competent advice on Safety ,Health and Environmental matters.
2. Provide training in Safe working methods.
3. Provide hygienic and healthy conditions for all employees working for it.
4. Ensure site cleaning, proper waste disposal and environmental control
5. Continue to develop, implement, and apply appropriate equipment, design codes and Safe working procedures.
6. Maintain a system for reporting, controlling, monitoring and assessing Safety performance at work.
7. Maintain and encourage joint consultation and mutual co-operation with all concerned on effective measures for the promotion of Safety at work at its widest range.

This policy is based on the firm conviction that all our activities being carried out Safely will directly contribute to the efficiency and success of the company as well as the welfare of the company employees.
